2. Information we collect
We collect only the information we need to operate this website, deliver our products and support our customers. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include information you give us directly, information generated when you use our products, and technical information sent automatically by your browser or device.
This website does not include public registration forms, quote request forms or marketing sign-up forms.
3. Information customers provide
You may provide personal information when you:
- contact us by email, for example your name, email address and the content of your message;
- purchase a product, for example the email address and billing details you enter at checkout;
- use a product that lets you enter or upload content.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
4. Account information
Some products may require an account. In that case we process the information needed to create and manage the account, such as your name, email address, login credentials (stored in protected form, never in plain text), account settings and subscription status. The product page or the product itself explains whether an account is required.
5. Product usage information
When you use our products, we may process information about how the product is used, such as features used, content you create within the product, dates of access, and error reports. We use this information to provide the product, keep it secure, fix problems and improve it. Individual products may describe additional processing specific to them.
6. Technical information
When you visit this website, our servers and infrastructure providers automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages requested, the referring page and the date and time of the request. This information is recorded in server logs used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
8. Analytics
This website currently does not use third-party analytics services, advertising pixels or session recording tools. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required by law.
9. Customer support
When you contact support, we use the information you share, such as your email address, order details and description of the issue, to answer your request, investigate problems and keep a record of the communication.
10. Purpose of processing
We process personal information to:
- provide, deliver and maintain the products you purchase or use;
- manage accounts, subscriptions and access to products;
- respond to support requests and communicate with you about your purchases;
- keep our website and products secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
- fix errors and improve our website and products;
- comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations and defend legal claims.
We process personal information on the basis of the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing our services, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
11. Service providers
We share personal information only with providers that help us operate our website and products, and only to the extent needed for that purpose. These may include hosting and infrastructure providers, content delivery and security providers such as Cloudflare, email service providers, payment and Merchant of Record services such as Polar, app stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play, and technology providers that power specific product features. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
12. Payment processing
ZitrixNet does not collect or store payment card numbers. Payment information is processed by the relevant payment provider, Merchant of Record or app store. For purchases on this website we may receive limited transaction information, such as the product purchased, the amount, the order status and the customer’s email address. For purchases in our apps we may receive information needed to verify the purchase and provide access, such as transaction identifiers, the product or subscription purchased and its status. We use this information to deliver the product and provide support.
13. Polar, the App Store and Google Play
Eligible purchases on this website are processed by Polar, which acts as Merchant of Record for those transactions. Polar may manage checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, receipts, subscriptions and refunds. Polar processes the personal information you provide at checkout under its own privacy policy, available at https://polar.sh/legal/privacy-policy.
Paid apps, memberships, subscriptions and in-app purchases in our iOS apps are processed by Apple through the App Store, and in our Android apps by Google through Google Play. Apple and Google process your account and payment information under their own privacy policies, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ and https://policies.google.com/privacy. Apple and Google do not share your payment card details with us.
14. International data processing
ZITRIXNET SPA is based in Chile. Some of our service providers, including Polar, Apple, Google and our infrastructure providers, may process personal information in other countries, such as the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. When information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps so that it remains protected in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
15. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy: for example, while you have an account or active subscription, while needed to handle a support request, or for the period required by legal, tax and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
16. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted administrative access and protected credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
